Despite facing challenges such as cultural differences and language barriers when she moved from the Philippines to Australia, Maria’s commitment to self-improvement paved the way for her success. Whilst conquering emotional challenges, she pursued her first course in English, which required her to learn computer skills – even more impressive as English was her second language. Eliza’s Courageous Odyssey – Balancing Parenthood, Education and Caregiving

Then there’s Eliza, a widowed mother navigating the balance of parenthood, education, working and caregiving. Undertaking our Individual Support course while caring for an elderly friend with dementia, Eliza displayed great strength and compassion. Her journey emphasises the impact of education on individuals and their communities.
